appropriate connecting parts, when the device is turned off
• Turn on and off simple electric devices
In case of observance of device defect e.g.:
• Damage on isolation
• Smell of burning
• Smoke
• Unusually loud or spasmodic operation of electric device
• Strong humming
• Jerky start
• Excessive warming up of some part of electric device
• Sparking
• Prickling caused by electric current
THE OPERATOR MUST TURN OFF THE ELECTRIC DEVICE IMMEDIATELY AND REPORT THE
DEFECT TO SERVICEMAN OF THE ELECTRIC DEVICE OR A SUPERVISOR
