Linear PCM Out

• Default setting: Down Sample On
You only need to make this setting if you connected the player to
another component (amplifier, etc.) using one of the digital outs.
If your amplifier is compatible with high sampling rates (96 kHz), set
this to Down Sample Off, otherwise set it to Down
Sample On (96 kHz audio is converted to a more compatible 48
kHz). Check the manual that came with the other component if
you're unsure whether it is 96 kHz compatible.
• If Digital Out is set to On and Linear PCM Out is
set to Down Sample On, you'll see the message
Digital Out Converted appear on-screen when either
the button is pressed or when playing 192 kHz source

MPEG Out

• Default setting: MPEG 3 PCM
You only need to make this setting if you connected the player to

If your amplifier is compatible with MPEG audio, set this to
MPEG, otherwise set it to MPEG 3 PCM (MPEG audio is
converted to more compatible PCM audio). Check the manual that
came with the other component if you're unsure whether it is MPEG
audio compatible.

Vous ne devez effectuer ce réglage que si vous avez raccordé le
lecteur à un autre composant (amplificateur, etc.) via l'une des
sorties numériques.
Si votre amplificateur est compatible avec des fréquences
d'échantillonnage élevées (96 kHz), réglez-le sur Down
Sample Off; sinon, réglez-le sur Down Sample On (les
signaux audio à 96 kHz sont convertis en signaux audio à 48 kHz
plus généralement compatibles). Consultez le mode d'emploi fourni
avec cet autre composant si vous ne savez pas avec certitude s'il est
compatible avec les fréquences de 96 kHz.
• Si Digital Out est réglé sur On et Linear PCM Out
sur Down Sample On, vous voyez le message Digital

cet autre composant si vous ne savez pas avec certitude s'il est
