CHARGING THE BATTERY
To set up the charger attach the charger cord to the charger and plug in the cord. To
insert the battery into the charger, hold the battery with the side that says Nikon facing
up. Slide the battery into the charger so the end with the triangle goes into the charger
first. The battery fits completely inside the charger. An orange light on the top of the
charger will start blinking continuously. When the charge is complete the light will stay
a solid orange. It'll take about 90 minutes to fully charge the battery.
INSERTING THE BATTERY
Make sure the camera is off before inserting the battery.
The door to the battery compartment is on the bottom of the camera.
Push the lever on the compartment door toward the center of the cam-
era. If you do this while holding the camera upright the door will drop
down, opening the compartment.
