    Get Ready Inserting the Battery and Memory Card Battery Memory card Look at the stickers and insert the battery and memory card the right way. The first time you insert a memory card that has been used in another device into this camera, make sure to format it with this camera. Charging the Battery Connect the camera to the Charging AC Adapter and to the electrical outlet.

    Setting the Camera You can set the camera with or without using a smartphone or tablet. Setup from a Smartphone or Tablet Before setting the camera, install the SnapBridge app (page 2) and enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone or tablet (called “smart device” from this point on).
