3. Fill with water up to the 5 litre mark.
5. Shake the bottle to ensure thorough
mixing - check for leaks.
Never use leaking equipment. Take care to avoid the spillage of spray mix.
Examples of mixing spray - for 1 hectare
a) glyphosate:
add water:
Total volume:
i.e. 1 part glyphosate : 4 parts water
e.g. 1 litre of glyphosate + 4 litre of
water in 5 litre spray bottle

4. Attach the spray bottle to the battery
case clamp, making sure that the un-
ion nut is firmly tightened.
6. Wipe the bottle with a dry cloth.
b) 2,4-D (500 g/l)
add water:
Total volume:
i.e. 3 parts 2,4-D : 17 parts water
e.g. 750 ml of 2,4-D + 4.25 litres of
water in 5 litre spray bottle.
