Set the time:
1. Press , scroll
2. Scroll to
CLOCK SET
The current time is displayed.
3. Use the keypad to set the required time in 24 hour format,
e.g. 1830 for 6.30pm. Press

Check the current day and time setting

1. On the answering machine base, press
time setting is announced.
Default day and time
The default day and time is Saturday, 12.01pm. If the power
to the base is lost, the date and time will revert to this default
setting. Your messages will be unaffected.
If you have subscribed to your network's Caller Display service,
the day and time will be set on the handset automatically.
However, the correct day can only be set manually, see
previous page.
Your BT Freelance XD 5500 is now ready for use.
