Be prepared to
give
the tow truck operator at least the follow-

EMERGENCY
TOWING
CAUTION
Do not allow your motor
home to be towed without
having the tow truck
operator read this section
and related sections of
the Chassis Operator's
Manual.
CAUTION
Do not tow the motor
home from the
rear.
Towing from the rear will
cause serious overload-
ing of the front tires and
suspension, possibly re-
sulting in tire or front sus-
pension failure. The rear
frame extensions are not
designed to withstand the
load imposed by lifting
from the rear.
CAUTION
The air brake system and
air suspension system
may require recharging
with air before towing to
release the brakes and
provide
proper
ride
height. Tow truck opera-
tors should be equipped
to re-charge these air
systems. The air system
recharging connection is
located under the front
hood.
