3. Center the rear axle on the platform and take a reading.
This reading is the rear Gross Axle Weight (Reading 3).

4. Compare the readings taken on the scales to the appropri-
ate ratings on the Federal Certification tag and wardrobe
door tag. Example: The front Gross Axle Weight should not
exceed the front Gross Axle Weight Rating .

adjust or remove the load.
