3. Center both the motor home and the trailer combination on
the scale and take a reading. This is the Gross Combined
Weight (Readings 4).
4. Subtract Reading 1 from Reading 2. This is the rear Gross
Axle Weight.
5. Compare the readings taken on the scales to the weight
ratings on the Federal Certification tag and wardrobe
doortag. Example: the Gross Combined Weight should not
exceed the Gross Combined Weight Rating.
