 If necessary, peel the adhesive label in
the relevant national language off the
accompanying adhesive label sheet
and paste it over the German text on
the appliance.
Caution: Depending on the application,
the suction hose can be attached to 2
different suction nozzles:
1 Suction nozzle on the intermediate ring:
a) Dry vacuum cleaning with disposal
bag: Coarse dusts, large quantities of
vacuumed material over a short period
of time
b) Wet vacuuming
2 Suction nozzle on the dirt container:
a) Dry vacuum cleaning with safety filter
bag: Asbestos, fine particles, constantly
large quantities of vacuumed material
b) Wet vacuuming
Warning
Do not vacuum without the filter elements;
otherwise, the suction motor can get dam-
aged and this can be hazardous to health
on account of increased release of fine dust
particles.
Note: Additional regulations can be appli-
cable to dusts with an ignition capacity be-
low 1mJ.
 Bring the appliance to working position
- secure it, if required, with parking
brakes.
 Attach the suction hose (not included in
the scope of delivery) to the selected
suction nozzle. Tightly seal the other
suction nozzle with the connection
bushing, see operation.

Start up

 Check the fill level in the dirt container
prior to starting work and empty the
container if necessary.
 Depending on the application, install
the disposal bag or the safety filter bag
when dry vacuuming, see "Dry vacuum-
ing".
 Ensure that the dirt container has been
inserted properly.
 Attach the desired accessories (not in-
cluded).
Automatic monitoring of suction ca-
The machine is equipped with a suction
power monitor. The control lamp "Vacuum
pressure" lights up red if the air speed in the
suction hose falls below 20 m/s (see "As-
sistance in case of malfunctions").
Note: The control lamp "negative pressure"
can occasionally light up red during normal
operation (e.g., while working with a floor
nozzle), if the air volume comes down
(cross-sectional reduction) causing a lower
pressure.
Note: There is no defect in this case; only
an indication that, as specified above, the
air volume has reduced and the low pres-
sure has increased.
Anti-static system
By means of the earthed suction nozzles
static charges are bled off. This way, the
electrically conductive accessories ap-
proved by the manufacturer prevent the for-
mation of sparks and current surges.
Caution
The flat pleated filter must always be in
place while vacuuming.
Unused flat-fold filters may only be
stored and transported in the packaging
(carton).
Illustration
The lamella of the flat-fold filter should
not be touched during installation.
