Smudges and dirt can interfere with the proper scanning of a bar code. Therefore, the horizontal and vertical output windows
will need occasional cleaning.
For the glass window:
1.
Spray glass cleaner onto lint free, non-abrasive cleaning cloth.
2.
Gently wipe the scanner window.
For the inner plastic window:
1.
Use mild soap and water with lint free, non-abrasive cleaning cloth.
2.
Gently wipe the scanner window.
For scaled StratosS units, routinely check and clean the base unit to ensure that no debris is interfering with the platter
movement.
