Turn the power switch off for
safety.

Fold the smoked plastic cover
forward by lifting tab on right side.

Raise the smoked plastic cover.

Remove the smoked plastic cover.
Caution:

• The printhead may be hot. Use caution

when the cover is open.
Gently slide the carriage toward the
center of the unit.
