DOWN (ON) – HPD is forced active. In this mode the HAX-44/HDBT does not process HPD events from downstream to upstream (from the sink back to the source). This speeds up the HDMI pipeline and can be very useful to avoid a looping condition when multiple HDMI devices are connected in series.
