• Install the softener in a place where water damage is least likely to Frequency: 60Hz occur if a leak develops. Power consumption: 7 Watts Maximum • A 120VAC electrical outlet is needed to plug in the transformer. If the outlet is remote (up to 100 feet), use 18 gauge wire to connect. -

Turn off gas or electric supply to the water heater. • Remove the barbed fitting from the drain port. 2.
