Selecting the
temperature

How to set your appliance:
S Using the selection button 1, select the
required refrigerator or freezer
compartment area.
S Press the setting buttons 8 to set the
required temperature.
Freezer compartment
(can be selected from -16 °C to -26 °C)
We recommend a setting of -18 °C.
Refrigeratorcompartment
(can be selected from +2 °C to +8 °C)
We recommend a setting of +4 °C.
Perishable food should not be stored
warmer than +4 °C.

Warning signal

In the following cases a warning signal
may sound.
The door warning signal
The door warning signal sounds if one
of the appliance doors is open for longer
than one minute. Close the door to switch
off the warning signal.
Temperature warning signal
AL" flashes on the freezer compartment
display and alarm" is displayed.

The temperature warning signal switches
on if the freezer compartment is too warm
and the frozen food is at risk of thawing.
If the alarm" button freezer compartment
is pressed, the warmest temperature
reached in the freezer compartment is
indicated on display for 10 seconds.
Then this value is deleted.
The warning signal may switch on without
any risk to the frozen food when:
S The appliance is switched on.
S Large quantities of fresh food are placed
in the freezer.
Minute minder warning
signal
The warning signal switches on if the
minute minder function was switched on.

Interior fittings

Shelves/containers
You can reposition the inner shelves and
the containers in the door as required:
pull shelf forwards, lower and swivel out
to the side. Lift the container and remove.
Chiller compartment
Fig. 1/17
The chiller compartment has lower
temperatures than the refrigerator
compartment.
Even temperatures below 0 °C may occur.
Ideal for storing fish, meat and sausage.
Not suitable for salads and vegetables
and produce sensitive to cold.
