Press main switch 1. The temperature
display light flashes until the required
temperature has been reached. Interior
light is switched on when the door
is open.
Selecting the
temperature
The set values can be changed; see
description of the fascia.
The factory has recommended and set
the following temperatures:
Refrigerator compartment
Perishable food should not be stored
warmer than +4 °C.
Operating tips
S The sides of the housing are sometimes
heated slightly. This prevents conden
sation in the area of the door seal.
S While the refrigerating unit is running,
beads of water or hoarfrost form at the
back of the refrigerator compartment.
This is quite normal. It is not necessary
to scrape off the frost or wipe off the
beads of water. The rear panel defrosts
automatically. The condensation collects
in the drainage channel, Fig. 3, and is
conveyed to the refrigerating unit where
it evaporates.

S If you cannot open the freezer compart
ment door immediately after closing it,
wait 2 3 minutes until the partial vacuum
has equalised.
S The doors have different opening angles:
Refrigerator compartment:
Freezer compartment:

Storing food

Note the refrigeration zones
in the refrigerator
compartment!
The air circulation in the refrigerator
compartment produce different refrigerant
zones:
S Coldest zones
+4 °C
are on the rear panel inside the
compartment and on the lowest
shelves. Fig. 4
Store perishable food (e.g. fish,
sausage, meat) in the coldest zones.
Note: When setting low temperature
values subzero temperature may occur
in these zones.
S Warmest zone
is at the very top of the door.
Note: Store e.g. cheese and butter in
the warmest zone. When served, the
cheese will not have lost its flavour and
the butter will be easy to spread.
