Streaming
XYFI let you stream movies, TV shows, music, photos and more from a microSD card to your device (smartphone/tablet/Mac & PC
and other WiFi enabled devices). Up to 8 devices can stream various media files from XYFI at the same time, letting everyone choose
whatever they want to view, watch, or listen to. Additionally, XYFI can be connected to Internet (using WiFi or 3G), so any user can
still browse the Internet while others are streaming.
It is very easy to start streaming. Within the files section of the XYFI, just click the desired file and streaming will start automatically
(please see below for supported file types). You can also select the arrow next to the item and then choose 'Open'.
Supported devices and file types:
Your device will stream any files supported by your device application. In order to stream (or download) all the files mentioned below,
a different media player (i.e. Quicktime Player, VLC media player, or similar) might be required. In addition, more filetypes might be
supported if using a different browser and/or third-party applications.
For more detailed information about supported file types per operating system and browsers, please visit our Option NV support
