You do this by pressing the LED/WPS ('side') button on the actual XYFI device and then plugging it into a power outlet. The LED/WPS
button must be kept pressed until it is restored.
Another possibility is to do this via the administration pages.
After approx. 15-20 seconds the LED will start to flash 'red' and 'green' and will continue for approx. 10 seconds. (It will only flash
red/green when restoring using the physical LED button, not when using soft button).
When the LED becomes 'amber', the XYFI is restored to its factory settings.
10. Mobile Administration Pages
XYFI's administration pages for mobile makes it easy to change basic settings and connect to any 3G network or Wireless Network.
Just open your Smartphone Internet browser and write 'xyfi/' in the address bar. If 'xyfi/' does not send you to the mobile site, write
'm.xyfi/' (or 172.22.2.1) and press 'Go'.
Important! Cookies need to be enabled on your mobile device to access the mobile admin pages.
Note: In the mobile version the most frequently used settings can be changed. For a complete overview and advanced settings, please
connect to the XYFI using a Windows PC/Mac.
To ensure the best possible user experience when using our advanced XYFI, you should use one of the mobile operating system below.
The newer version you use, the better (minimum requirements can be seen below).

10.1 Personal Hotspot
This provides the option to change the name, password your XYFI uses and to change its WiFi channel.
Network Name (SSID) the 'Service Set Identifier': Enter and/or change a name for your local wireless network (WLAN)
(maximum 32 characters), e.g. MyHomeNetwork
Password: We strongly recommend you to use a WiFi password if it is available for your WiFi clients. Connecting users can only
join your XYFI using this password. Data encryption used is WPA2 (WiFi Protected Access).
Broadcast Network (SSID) - Enable/Disable your Network Name (SSID) visible to other people around you.
Choose WiFi Channel - Choose either Automatic (automatically select the WiFi channel with least amount of interference) or
select one of the 11 WiFi channels available. Channels 1, 6 or 11 are usually the best selections.
Add WPS Device
Automatically add WiFi device to your XYFI using WPS - 'WiFi Protected Setup'. Your device needs to support WPS in order to use
this feature.
WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard for easy and secure wireless network set-up and connections.
To use WPS, the device you wish to connect must support WPS and must be compatible with WPA security.
WPS enables you to use push buttons or PIN code instead of entering a Network Name (SSID) and WiFi password by hand.
