TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

If you experience a problem with this unit, check the chart below before
calling for service.
SYMPTOM
No sound.
AM or FM, no sound.
AM/FM, poor sound.
iPod mode, no sound.

CAUSE
Volume is
set to minimum.
Power is not on.
Volume is
set to minimum.
Station is not tuned
properly.
FM: Wire antenna
is not extended.
AM: AM Loop antenna
is not connected and/or
located properly.
Incorrectly connected.
Not in iPod mode.

SOLUTION
Increase volume.
Press the Power button,
then the MODE button to
select AM/FM.
Increase volume.
Retune the AM or FM
broadcast station.
Extend FM wire
antenna.
See page 9 to connect
and/or locate the AM
Loop antenna.
Check the connection.
Press the MODE button to
select iPod mode.
