STROLLER OPERATION

7. HAND BRAKE OPERATION
(DELUXE & DEUCE ONLY)
Your Kelty stroller comes with a hand brake lever. It
works like a standard "bicycle style" hand brake
while walking or jogging.
To slow stroller while walking or jogging:
A. Gently squeeze the brake lever toward the
stroller handle (Figure 7A).
B. Release the brake lever when you are comfort-
able with the stroller speed.
NOTE
You can adjust the
brake by rotating
the cable adjustment
barrel.

8. PARKING BRAKE OPERATION
Your Kelty stroller is equipped with parking brakes on each rear wheel of the
stroller.
To lock the parking brakes:
A. Standing behind the stroller, grasp the stroller handle with both hands.
B. With your foot, gently push down on top of the parking brake lever
(Figure 8A).
C. Rock the stroller back and forth to make sure the lever is fully engaged to
the wheel.
D. Repeat steps 8B & 8C on the other wheel of the stroller.
To unlock the parking brakes:
E. Standing behind the stroller, grasp the stroller handle with both hands.
F. With your foot, gently lift up on the parking brake lever (Figure 8B).
G. Repeat step 8F on the other wheel of the stroller.
