Fitting the Harness

Not all basic power tools are equipped
with a harness and carrying ring.
Fit the carrying ring – see "Mounting

the Attachment".
The shoulder strap is available as a
special accessory.
The type of carrying ring and shoulder
strap depends on the market and the
basic power tool.
Shoulder Strap

Put on the shoulder strap (1).

Adjust the length of the strap – with
N
the machine attached, the
carabiner (3) must be at about the
same height as your right hip.

Harness

Put on the harness (1) and close the
N
locking plate (3).
Adjust the length of the strap – with
N
the machine attached, the
carabiner (2) must be at about the
same height as your right hip.
Attaching Machine to Shoulder Strap
On some loop-handled machines the
carrying ring is integrated in the front
end of the control handle.

Detaching Machine from Shoulder Strap

Throwing Off Machine
The machine must be quickly thrown off
in the event of imminent danger. To
throw off the machine, use the
procedure described under "Detaching
the machine from the harness". Practice
removing and putting down the machine

Attach the carabiner (1) to the
carrying ring (2).
Check that the carabiner is at about
hip height – adjust if necessary.

Press down the bar on the
carabiner (1) and pull the carrying
ring (2) out of the carabiner.
