    BATTERIES BATTERIES SAFETY __________________________________________________________________ Batteries contain dilute sulfuric acid which can result in severe burns. Hydrogen gas is formed within a battery during the charging cycle. Hydrogen in concentrations of 4% and higher are explosive and can be ignited by open flame or an electrical spark. A battery explosion will cause sulfuric acid and battery components to be thrown over a large area with considerable force.

    MAINTENANCE STORAGE ________________________________________________________________ Lubricate then wash the tractor thoroughly. Repair and paint damaged or exposed metal. Inspect the tractor, tighten hardware, replace worn damaged components. Clean the tires thoroughly and store the tractor so that the load is off the tires. If the tractor is not on jack stands, check the tires at regular intervals and reinflate as necessary.

    TROUBLESHOOTING TROUBLESHOOTING TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) _________________________________________ The Traction Control System (TCS) is designed to protect the electrical components of the traction and battery systems. An error code is displayed when a fault condition occurs. In most instances the traction controls on the tractor will cease to operate when an error condition occurs. In some cases resetting the TCS will allow the tractor to be restarted and operation resumed.
