The type designation can be found on the type identification plate and the serial number on the side of the motor housing. Make a note of this data in your operating instructions and always refer to it when making an enquiry to your Hilti representative or service department. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

Do not use the battery as a power source for other unspecified appliances. To avoid the risk of injury, use only genuine Hilti accessories and insert tools. 5 Before use 5.1 Charging a previously used battery Ensure that the outer surfaces of the battery are clean and dry before inserting the battery in the corresponding charger.
