5. Pour 1 teaspoon of clean 2-cycle oil into the combustion chamber. Pull starter rope slowly several times to coat internal
components. Replace spark plug (Figure 7-8A).

NOTE: Store the unit in a dry place and away from possible sources of ignition such as a furnace, gas hot water heater,

gas dryer, etc.

7-8. REMOVING A UNIT FROM STORAGE

1. Remove spark plug.

2. Pull starter rope briskly to clear excess oil from combustion chamber.

3. Clean and gap spark plug or install a new spark plug with proper gap.

4. Prepare unit for operation.
5. Fill fuel tank with proper fuel / oil mixture. See Fuel and Lubrication Section.

C 1. Retire la bougie.
2. Tirer vigoureusement sur le cordon du lanceur de manière à éliminer l'excès d'huile dans la chambre de combustion.

3. Nettoyer les électrodes de la bougie et réglar l'écartement ou installer une nouvelle bougie.

4. Préparer le coupe-herbe pour son utilisation.

5. Remplir le réservoir à carburant d'un mélange huile/essence approprié. Voir la section Carburant et Lubrification.
5. Vacie 1 cucharadita de aceite limpio de 2 cyclos en la cámara de combustion. Jale el hilo de arranque lentamente varias
veces para cubir los componentes internos. Reemplace la bujía (Figura 7-8A).
NOTA: Almacene la unidad en un lugar seco alejado de posibles fuentes de ignición tales como un horno, calentón de

1. Quite la bujía.
2. Jale el hilo de arranque rápidamente par aclarar el exceso de aceite de la cámara de combustión.
