1. Twist blower nozzle (A) clockwise into the straight blower tube (B) until tight (Figure 4-1A). 2. Insert the straight blower tube (B) into the blower housing (C). Align tabs (D) on tube with grooves (E) in the housing (Figure 4-1B).

To install vacuum bag: 1. Insert vacuum tube (A) into blower housing (B). Align tabs (D) on tube with grooves (E) in housing (Figure 4-3A). 2. Push tube in to ridge (F) and twist counterclockwise 3/8 turn to lock into position (Figure 4-3B).

1. Slide handle (A) into the groove in the housing (B). Secure with the two screws (C) (Figure 4-4A). 4-5. INSTALLATION OF SPARK ARRESTER A spark arrester screen is required when using your blower on U.S. National Forest Lands. Check your local state requirements. 1. Remove the 2 small muffler screws (A) (Figure 4-5A).

Watch out for children, pets, open windows or freshly washed cars, and blow debris safely away. Use the full blower nozzle extension so the air stream can work close to the ground. After using blowers and other equipment, CLEAN UP! Dispose of debris in trash receptacles.
(MB3201 Blower / Vac Models only) Blower Units If your unit is vac-capable and was not equipped with a vacuum kit, a vacuum attach- ment accessory kit is available for purchase at your nearest McCulloch Authorized Service Center. WARNING NEVER OPERATE VACUUM WITHOUT VACUUM BAG PROPERLY ATTACHED, AS FLYING DEBRIS COULD CAUSE INJURY TO OPERATOR AND BYSTANDERS.

To Operate Vacuum: 1. Follow correct starting procedures as explained in this manual. 2. Allow engine to return to idle. Put the shoulder harness on so the strap is over your right shoulder. Put the vacuum bag strap on so it is over your left shoulder.

8-6. VACUUM BAG CLEANING A dirty bag will obstruct airflow, thereby reducing vacuum efficiency. To Clean Bag: 1. Detach vacuum bag from unit. 2. Open zipper and remove contents. 3. Turn bag INSIDE OUT and shake vigorously. This procedure should be performed on a regular basis.
