Remove and discard electric plug
cover and mounting screw (A)

Remove and discard white plug from
upper left corner of freezer wall.

If
grille (E) is not in place so its louvers
direct air
to
the left, turn
it
as follows:
Remove screw (E,) which holds
grille (8).

Remove grille (B), rotate it
90°
counterclockwise, and reinstall
it
as
shown below.
Replace screw and tighten

Loosen screws (C) but do not screw
them all the way
out.
Screws should
extend approximately 1/2" out from
freezer wall.
Cut the fill tube extension (5) to the
SHORT length
if
your refrigerator
is 22.0 or 22.5 cubic feet (use a
sharp knife or single-edge razor
'
blade.) Otherwise use the
H
long
length. Slide the extension onto
the fill tube against the stop.
Step 13
Place icemaker on shelf in freezer
compartment as shown. Insert ice-
maker power cord plug (D) into socket
on side wall, making sure prongs are
matched to corresponding holes and
plug is firmly seated in socket.

Lift icemaker and position rear
opening in fill cup (E) over fill tube
extension (5). Hang icemaker on two
screws (C).
Make sure:
electrical plug is still firmly
in,
socket.
fill tube extension (5) is still in fill
cup opening-check rear of refriger-
ator to make sure fill tube has not
been pushed out of the back of the
refrigerator.
icemaker mounting screws are 10-
cated in uppermost position of mount-
ing slots.
ING SCREWS SECURELY.
THEN TIGHTEN ICEMAKER MOUNT-

The icemaker should feel secure when
you lift the icemaker feeler arm (F) to
the "OFF" (up) position. Leave
it
there
until the refrigerator is connected to
the water supply
to
prevent premature
operation.

Move ice bucket (7) into place on shelf
directly under icemaker.
NOTE: Check again
to
make sure the
icemaker power cord plug is fully in-
serted into its
socket with prongs
matched
to
corresponding holes.
Check again to make sure icemaker
feeler arm (F) is in "OFF"
(up)
position.
Step 17
A
label (8) is provided in the kit to record
the date of installation for warranty
purposes. Apply
it
to the back of the
refrigerator.

The warranty for the icemaker is
printed on the back page of this book-
let. Keep this booklet with
your
Refrigerator Use & Care book.
The icemaker installation is now com-
plete. Refer
to
water line hook-up
instructions on the back of the refrig-
erator for connection to home water
supply. After water line installation is
completed, lower icemaker feeler arm
to the "ON" (down) position.
lcemaking cycle will not begin until
icemaker and freezer compartment
reach operating temperature, then
icemaking will begin automatically.
