INSTALLATION IN WINDOW
1.
Raise lower sash and remove window handle, if
there is one. Select center of area where air
conditioner is to be loated.
2.
KEEPINGA FIRM GRIP ON THE AIR
CONDITIONER, arefully place unit into window
opening so bottom of air conditioner frame is
against stool of window. Carefully close window
behind handle on air conditioner.
3. If leveling bolt does not touch stool with unit in
and adjust bolt downward until it touches stool.

window, leveling bolt should be adjusted above
bottom surface of air conditioner.

4. Cut a 5" piece off the foam sash-gap gasket.
Tilt unit slightly to the inside and install gasket in
channel directly behind opening in handle.
5. Extend sliding panels out from sides of air
conditioner case against window frame. Keep
panels level, fasten each to sash with single screw
driven as high as possible to avoid any sag in
extended panel.
