Installation of Logs

Remove front glass. (Refer to "Window Frame As-
sembly Removal" Section, Fig. 47) Remove logs from
packaging.
As with all plastics — these are not toys
and should be kept away from children
and infants.

1. Fit rear log (B140) in
place. Use the two (2)
underside holes of the

(2) pin studs of the rear
log bracket.
2. Place the front left log
(B127). Position the
notch against the sec-
ond grate from the left.
The back edge of this
log with the rectangular
slot rests into the knob
located at the left of the
rear log.
3. Place the front right log
(B128). Position the front
bottom recessed step of
the log against the hori-
zontal bar of the front
grate at the right. The
center bottom recessed
step will set against the
right end of the burner housing.
4. Place burner lava rock and 1/3 of the bag of platinum
embers on the front area of the burner. (Fig. 49)
5. Place the front center log (B139). Position the log
notch against the center grate. The other end of the
log's bottom has a round recessed hole that rests
on top of the round knob located at the center of the
rear log.
6. Place large lava rock around the front grate area as
shown in Figure 49.

1. Place rear log (E8) on rear bracket (ensure the notch
on the left end is centered on the left side of rear
bracket), so it will not move from side to side and is
firmly positioned on the bracket. Be sure log is as far
forward as possible on bracket. (Fig. 50)

2. Place front left log (E9) on top of burner, left side.
Align log's bottom holes with left bracket log locator
studs.
3. Place front right log (E10) on top of burner, right
side. Align log's bottom holes with right bracket log

4. Place top left log (E12). Use log's bottom hole to
locate it onto rear log left (E8) and just rest bottom

cut out log onto the grate assembly.
5. Place top right log (E13). Use log's bottom hole to
locate it onto rear log right (E8) and the bottom of
top right log rest onto front right log (E10).
6. Place front center log (E11). Position the log notch
against the center grate assembly and the bottom of
front center log rest onto front right log (E10).
7. Place large lava rock around the front grate.
