6.3 Cleaning / changing

Check the hygienic exhaust filter each time you empty
the dust container,
the dust container".
If during checking you see that the hygienic exhaust fil-
ter is dirty, clean it as described below.
1. Switch off the device using the on/off switch, put it into
idle running mode and pull the plug from the socket,

3. Press the release button of the exhaust filter cover "
(Fig. 28/a). Take the cover up and off (Fig. 28/b).
4. Hold the exhaust filter cover complete with the inserted
hygiene exhaust filter over a dustbin.

5. Now you can separate both elements from one another
(Fig. 29) and knock them to get most of the dirt out. Re-
move dirt by hand.
6. Should this be insufficient, remove the dirt from the filter
with a dry, soft brush, e.g. the 3-in-1 combi nozzle con-
a
verted to a furniture brush.
ATTENTION:
The hygienicexhaust filter cannot be washed.
7. If the filter is damaged or deformed, replace it (ordering
information
Parts").
8. Put the clean/new exhaust hygiene filter back into the
exhaust filter cover.
9. Put the freshly equipped exhaust filter back onto its
base and press down firmly (Fig. 30) until you clearly
hear and feel it click into place.
NOTE:
Make sure that that the hygienic exhaust filter is always
properly in its position and the exhaust filter cover is
always locked completely into place, otherwise the
exhaust air will not be sufficiently filtered.
