Setting the resolution and quality
The function can be set directly by pressing [Fn] in the shooting mode.
Setting the image quality of the
picture
The picture taken is saved either in JPEG or in RAW
format.
The compression ratio is reduced as the image quality
gets better. It is necessary to increase the file size to have
a better quality picture.
In Shooting mode, press [MENU].

• The RAW file format images are saved without loss of
data, and the photo size is set to 14M(4592 x 3056)
only. Although the settings such as white balance,
contrast, saturation and sharpness are not reflected
on the image, they are saved as information. If you
want to save the RAW data into the image files
such as JPEG or TIFF format, the provided software
(SAMSUNG RAW Converter) should be used. RAW
files have the extension of "SRW." (For example:
"SAM_9999.SRW")

Setting the quality of movie

The recorded movies are saved as normal or high
quality.
In Shooting mode, press [MENU].
