Wash the Turbocharger blower (If
Equipped)
Contamination of the turbocharger causes
revolutions to drop and engine output to
fall.
If a significant drop in engine output is
noted (10% or more), wash the
turbocharger blower.
This should be done only by a trained and
qualified technician. Consult authorized
Yanmar Marine dealer or distributor.

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Every 500 Hours of Operation
Perform the following maintenance every
500 hours or 2 years of operation,
whichever comes first.
• Replacing the Exhaust/Water Mixing
Elbow
• Replacing Rubber Hoses
Replacing the Exhaust/Water Mixing
Elbow
Replace the mixing elbow with a new one
every 500 hours or 2 years, whichever
comes first, even if no damage is found.

Replacing Rubber Hoses
Replace rubber hoses every 2000 hours or
2 years, whichever comes first.
