Priming the Fuel System

Bleeding the fuel filter
An automatic bleeding device is installed
on the fuel filter. Therefore an air bleed
screw is not required.
1. Push up and down on the priming
pump to bleed the fuel filter. (approx.
60 times)
2. When you begin to feel resistance,
bleeding is complete.
Never use the starter motor to crank the
engine in order to prime the fuel system.
This may cause the starter motor to
overheat and damage the coils, pinion
and/or ring gear.
