Installing and Configuring Motherboard Options
To replace the battery (see Figure 7):
1 . Observe the precautions in "Before You
Begin" (see page 41).
2 . Turn off all peripheral devices connected to

4 * With your fingers, gently pry the battery free
from its socket, taking care to note the "+"
and "J' orientation of the battery.
5 . Install the new battery in the socket.
6 . Replace the computer cover.
