To sign in to Lync server with the User Credentials method via phone user interface (take
SIP-T48G IP phones for example):
1. Tap User Sign in.
2. Enter the desired value in the Sign-in address field.
3. Enter the desired user name in the User Name field.
4. Enter the desired password in the Password field.
5. Tap the Sign in soft key.

1. Tap PIN Sign in.
2. Enter the desired extension in the Extension field.
3. Enter the desired pin in the Pin field.
4. Press the Sign in soft key.
Web server type determines access protocol of the IP phone's web user interface. IP
phones support both HTTP and HTTPS protocols for accessing the web user interface.
HTTP is an application protocol that runs on top of the TCP/IP suite of protocols. HTTPS is
a web protocol that encrypts and decrypts user page requests as well as pages
returned by the web server. Both HTTP and HTTPS port numbers are configurable.
