To configure backlight via phone user interface (take SIP-T22P IP phones for example):
1.
Press Menu->Settings->Basic Settings->Backlight.

Press

Backlight Time field.
3.
Press the Save soft key to accept the change.
To configure the backlight via web user interface (take SIP-T48G IP phones for example):
1.
Click on Settings->Preference.
2.
Select the desired value from the pull-down list of Backlight Inactive Level.
3.
Select the desired value from the pull-down list of Backlight Active Level.
4.
Select the desired value from the pull-down list of Backlight Time(seconds).
5.
Click Confirm to accept the change.

Tap
->Basic->Display->Backlight.
2.
Select the desired level from the pull-down list of Backlight Active Level.
3.
Select the desired value from the pull-down list of Backlight Inactive Level.
4.
Select the desired time from the pull-down list of Backlight Time.
5.
Tap
to accept the change or tap
Lync users are authenticated against Microsoft Active Directory Domain Service. The
following two sign-in methods are supported on the phone:
User Credentials: This method uses the user's credentials to sign in to Lync server. It
is available on the phone user interface and web user interface.
PIN Authentication: This method uses the user's phone number (or extension) and
, or the Switch soft key to select the desired value from the
