Connecting refrigerant lines

Tighten nuts with the following torques:
Type AWT-AC Line
221.A04 Liquid line 7 6 mm
Hot gas line 7 12 mm
221.A07 Liquid line 7 10 mm
Hot gas line 7 16 mm
221.A10 Liquid line 7 10 mm
Hot gas line 7 16 mm
221.A13 Liquid line 7 10 mm

6. Type AWT-AC 221.A04:
■ Slide the supplied union nuts
(⁷⁄₁₆ UNF for liquid line, ¾ UNF for
hot gas line) over the refrigerant
lines from the external unit.
■ Flare the refrigerant lines from the
external unit.
■ Connect the supplied reducers
with copper sealing ring to the
connection pieces (twin nipple).
■ Secure the refrigerant lines from
the external unit onto the reducers,
using the union nuts.
Type AWT-AC 221.A07, A10 and
A13:
■ Slide the supplied union nuts
(⅝ UNF for liquid line, ⅞ UNF for
hot gas line) over the refrigerant
lines from the external unit.
■ Flare the refrigerant lines from the
external unit.
■ Secure the refrigerant lines from
the external unit onto the connec-
tion pieces, using the union nuts.
