Removing or Installing the Processor Duct
Cover
To install or remove the DIMM or processor, you will need to remove the duct cover.
Do not assemble the system without installing the duct cover.
No duct installed in the system reduces cooling efficiency and
can affect performance or cause damage due to overheating.

Removing the Processor Duct Cover

1. Read
2. Position the server unit on its left side (as viewed form the rear).
3. Remove the right side door (see
page 111
4. Hold the left side of the duct cover, and push the right end of the tab to release
from the chassis.
5. Remove the duct from the chassis.
