Using this unit
The flashing color and MIXTRAX special effects
display change with changes in the sound and
bass levels.
1 Press M.C. to display the setting mode.
2 Turn M.C. to select the desired setting.
! Sound Level Mode Color 1 to Color 6 –
The flash pattern changes according to the
sound level. Select a desired mode.
! Low Pass Mode Color 1 to Color 6 – The
flash pattern changes according to the
bass level. Select a desired mode.
! Flashing Color Random – The flash pat-
tern changes randomly according to the
sound level mode and low pass mode.
! Sound Level Mode Random – The flash
pattern changes randomly according to the
sound level mode.
! Low Pass Mode Random – The flash pat-
tern changes randomly according to the
low pass mode.
DISP EFFECT (display effect)
The MIXTRAX special effects display can be turned
on or off.
1 Press M.C. to display the setting mode.
2 Turn M.C. to select the desired setting.
MIXTRAX 1 (MIXTRAX special effects dis-
play 1)—MIXTRAX 2 (MIXTRAX special effects
display 2)—OFF (normal display)
CUT IN EFFECT (manual cut-in effect)
You can turn on or off the MIXTRAX sound effects
while manually changing tracks.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (on)—OFF (off)
MIX Settings (MIXTRAX settings)
For details, refer to MIXTRAX settings on page 16.

Note
SHORT PLAYBACK, CUT IN EFFECT, and
MIX Settings are disabled while the MIXTRAX
App is in use with the source set to App. The
MIXTRAX App settings are given priority over
other settings.
MIXTRAX settings
You can change the settings for fixed sounds
and sound effects.
! The fixed sound settings can be changed
from MIX Fixed.
! The sound effect settings can be changed
from any of the following menus:
LOOP EFFECT, Flanger EFFECT,
Echo EFFECT, Crush EFFECT, and
Crossfade EFFECT.

Press M.C. to display the function menu.

Turn M.C. to select the function.
Once selected, the following functions can be
adjusted.
MIX Fixed (MIXTRAX sound effects)
The fixed sounds can be removed from MIXTRAX
sound effects.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (fixed sounds and sound effects)—OFF
(sound effects)
LOOP EFFECT (loop effect)
The loop effect, which is inserted at the end of
each song automatically, can be removed from
the sound effect.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (on)—OFF (off)
Flanger EFFECT (flanger effect)
Using this unit
The flanger effect can be removed from the sound
effect.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (on)—OFF (off)
Echo EFFECT (echo effect)
The echo effect can be removed from the sound ef-
fect.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (on)—OFF (off)
Crush EFFECT (crush effect)
The crush effect can be removed from the sound
effect.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (on)—OFF (off)
Crossfade EFFECT (crossfade effect)
The crossfade effect can be removed from the
sound effect.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (on)—OFF (off)
Note
Flanger EFFECT, Crush EFFECT and
Crossfade EFFECT are not available when iPod
is selected as the source.

System menu

Press M.C. to display the main menu.

Turn M.C. to change the menu option
and press to select SYSTEM.

Turn M.C. to select the system menu
function.
Once selected, the following system menu func-
tions can be adjusted.
! BT AUDIO, Clear memory, BT Version Info.
and APP CONNECT MODE are not available
for DEH-X9650SD and DEH-X7650SD.
Language select (multi-language)
1 Press M.C. to select the language.
English—Español—Português
Calendar (setting the date)
1 Press M.C. to select the segment of the calen-
dar display you wish to set.
Year—Day—Month
2 Turn M.C. to set the date.
Clock Setting (setting the clock)
1 Press M.C. to select the segment of the clock
display you wish to set.
Hour—Minute—Time notation
2 Turn M.C. to adjust the clock.
EngineTime alert (elapsed time display setting)
This setting displays how much time has elapsed
since the machine was turned on.
You can set a timer and an alarm.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
OFF—15Minutes—30Minutes
Clock (clock display setting)
You can set the clock to display even if the unit is
turned off.
1 Press M.C. to select the desired setting.
ON (clock display)—Elapsed time (elapsed
time display)—OFF (clock off)
! Only for DEH-X9650SD
You can switch the function by pressing CLK.
