When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included. All sizes
listed below are approximate. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor
Freight Tools at: 1-800-444-3353. There should be one Air Hydraulic Riveter, two combi-
nation wrenches, an extra set of jaws, and a three Nose Pieces threaded into the base
of the riveter. A fourth Nose Piece comes installed in the Riveter.
It is advisable to use an in-line oiler. If you are not using an in-line oiler, put a few
drops of pneumatic oil into the Air Inlet (35) prior to every operation.
To Install A Nosepiece:
1. The Riveter comes with a set of four Nosepieces (1). The sizes of the Nosepieces
are 1/4", 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16" and must be matched with the size of the rivet pin
(1/4", 1/8", 5/32", or 3/16") you intend to use. (See Figure B.)
2. Use the accessory Spanner when changing Nosepieces (1). Also, use care when
unscrewing a Nosepiece as the spring action in the Outer Cylinder (2) will cause
the Nosepiece to "pop out". (See Figure B.)
note: Nosepieces are stored underneath the Base Cover (34).
