12. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: . "Complete!" should be indicated in
Status column.
. Model name should be indicated in
Model column.
. Model name should be corresponded
with Video Format.

When model name is not corresponded with Video Format,
dialog box appears on the screen. In this case, serial
number may possible set incorrectly. Therefore, confirm
the serial number. The following shows model name to
serial number.

SNC-RZ30P (CE) 400001 and higher
13. Confirm the check marks are located on the RTC,
System and WEB items in Program column.
14. Click Write button.
15. Confirm the "Complete!" is indicated in Status
column.
16. Click END button.
17. Turn off the power of the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P,
remove the I/O PORT and BNC coaxial cable from the
SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
18. Set the DIP switch S001 to 0000 of the SY-303 board.
Install the bottom plate of the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
19. Next, set IP address and subnet mask on PC to
[192.168.0.200] and [255.255.255.0] respectively.
Connect SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P and PC using UTP
category 5 cross cable, then turn on the power of the
SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P while pressing the reset button.
20. Start the browser (internet explorer) of PC.

21. Type the "http://192.168.0.100/systemlog.html" in
address section of browser, press Enter key. When
user name and password dialog box appears on the
screen, type the "admin" to both dialog boxes, then
click OK button.
22. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
. Software version should be latest updated.
. The following four digit log should be indicated.
System program version has been
updated.
Web contents version has been updated.
Environmental information is initialized.
Restarted.
23. Type the "http://192.168.0.100" in address section of
browser, press Enter key.
24. Select "Activex viewer" and open the Viewer. When
user name and password dialog boxes appears on the
screen, type the "admin" to both dialog boxes, then
click OK button.
25. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: Normal images (images of turn over at
the upper and lower sides), that may not
occur noisy such as U-matic beat etc,
should be displayed on the PC monitor.

Procedure after Updating
1. Disconnect Ethernet Cable (UTP category 5, cross
cable) between SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P and PC. Remove
the PC card.
2. Disconnect the AC adaptor to DC IN connector of the
SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P, turn off the power of the SNC-
RZ30N/RZ30P.

2-8-2. Normal Mode

Perform the software updates in normal mode without
change the setting of DIP switch on the SY-303 board.
However, this method cannot clock (RTC) setting of the
SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
