1-3-2. Lens Block

1. Remove the front cover. (Refer to Section 1-2-1)
2. Remove the upper cover and lower cover. (Refer to
Section 1-2-2)
3. Remove the pan cover (F) and pan cover (B). (Refer to
Section 1-2-3)
4. Remove the pan cover (R) and pan cover (L). (Refer to
Section 1-2-4)
5. Remove the camera block. (Refer to Section 1-3-1)
6. Remove the VC-292 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-2)
7. Remove the MC-141 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-3)
8. Remove the two screws (BTP 1.7x4), then remove the
lens block from the bracket assembly.
9. Remove the three screws (M 2x3), then remove the
lens chassis from the bracket assembly.
10. Remove one screw (M 2x3), then remove the motor
from the lens chassis.

11. Attach the lens block in the reverse order of steps 1 to
10.

When attaching the motor, be sure to align the groove of
the motor with the groove of the lens chassis, then secure
the motor with one screw (M 2x3).

1-4. Removal and Installation of Board

1-4-1. MDR-20 Board
1. Remove the front cover. (Refer to Section 1-2-1)
2. Remove the upper cover and lower cover. (Refer to
Section 1-2-2)
3. Remove the pan cover (F) and pan cover (B). (Refer to
Section 1-2-3)
4. Remove the pan cover (R) and pan cover (L). (Refer to
Section 1-2-4)
5. Remove the camera block. (Refer to Section 1-3-1)
6. Remove one screw, then remove the board retainer and
MDR-20 board in the direction indicated by the arrow.
7. Disconnect the two flexible flat cables from the two
connectors on the MDR-20 board.
