29. TA: In RDS operation, listening to traffic announcement.
30. AMS (STOP): In radio mode, press for several seconds to enter into automa-
tic memory storing function; press shortly to scan preset station.
During disc playing, press it to stop disc playback.
31. BND (MENU): In DVD mode, display the root menu that is stored on the DVD
disc or return to disc menu on the VCD discs.
In radio mode, press it to select desired band.

Preparing the Remote Control

Inserting the Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the new battery. Make sure that the positive and negative terminals of the
battery are oriented as indicated.
3. Close the cover.
- Battery: a button cell lithium battery (CR2025 3V)
Using the Remote Control
Point the remote control towards the player front face remote sensor IR (remote con-
trol signal receiver).
Operation angle: About ±30 degree in each the direction of the front of the remote
sensor.
