Troubleshooting

SYMPTOM
Limited Driving Distance.
Batteries not Charging.
Batteries draw excessive
current when charging.
Battery indicator shows the
charge level is low - too
Soon after being recharged.
Scooter will not drive.
Status bar indicator is
blinking

PROBABLE CAUSE
Battery not charged long enough.
Batteries weak, won't hold
charge.
Charger not working.
Battery connections loose.
No current at wall outlet.
Bad connection on charger, char-
ger cable, plug or internal wiring
problem.
Battery failure.
Charger not working.
Weak batteries.
Brake release lever disengaged.
Batteries require charging.
Key not fully plugged in.
Charger plugged in.
Fuse blown in battery box.
Battery connections loose.
An error has occurred

SOLUTION
Charge batteries overnight or ensure eight
hours of charge between use.
Replace batteries. Refer to Removing/
Installing the Batteries on page 32.
Replace charger. Contact Dealer or a quali-
fied technician.
Check all connections. Secure connections.
Refer to Removing/Installing the Batteries
on page 32.
Switch another wall outlet.
Replace charger or internal repairs
required. Contact Dealer or a qualified
technician.
Replace batteries. Refer to Removing/
Installing the Batteries on page 32.
Have charger checked. Service or replace
the charger. Contact Dealer or a qualified
technician.
Replace batteries. Refer to Removing/
Installing the Batteries on page 32.
Engage brake release lever. Refer to Engag-
ing/Disengaging the Brake Release Lever on
page 21.
Charge batteries. Refer to Charging the Bat-
teries on page 34.
Ensure key is inserted fully into keyswitch.
Unplug charger from scooter.
Contact Dealer or qualified technician.
Check all connections. Secure connections.
Refer to Removing/Installing the Batteries
on page 32.
Count the number of blinks and refer to
Service Indicator Error Codes on page 17.
