General problems

Problem
The machine shakes
during the spin cycle.
The pump makes strange
noises.
Large amounts of
detergent residue
remain in the detergent
dispenser drawer.
The fabric softener is
not completely
dispensed or too much
water remains in the §
compartment.
The display is in a
different language.
Foam escapes from the
detergent dispenser
drawer during the Rinse
out fluff programme.
Different durations are
shown in the display.
Possible cause
The machine feet are
not level.
This is not a fault. These noises occur at the
beginning and at the end of a pump sequence as a
normal part of the operation.
The water pressure is
too low.
Powder detergent
used with water
softeners can be
sticky.
The siphon tube is not
correctly positioned,
or is clogged up.
A different language
has been selected in
"Settings -
LanguageJ".
Detergent residue is
located in the suds
container after the last
wash programme.
The time remaining display constantly adjusts
according to the washing and drying conditions.
Problem solving guide
Remedy
Level the machine (see
"Installation").
– Clean the water inlet
filters.
– Select Water plus.
Clean the detergent
dispenser drawer and in
future add washing powder
and then add the water
softener.
Clean the siphon (see
"Cleaning and care -
Cleaning the detergent
dispenser drawer").
Set the language you want.
The flag symbol will guide
you.
Always add the correct
amount of detergent. Use the
Load/Detergent button to
assist with this.
