Formatting
You can format a storage device.
[MENU]  ▼  <Device>  ►▼  <Storage Device>  [ENTER]  ▲▼◄►  [ENTER]  ▲▼◄► 
<Format>  ▲▼◄►  [ENTER]
• Select : Check the checkbox of the device that you want to format.
• Format : Select a device and press this to display the format confirmation dialog.
Press <OK> to start formatting the selected storage device.

Note that formatting the device will delete all of the existing recording data.

Do never remove the device to format until formatting is completed.

A HDD with greater than 2TB cannot be formatted for backup purpose.
HDD Alarm Setting
You can set alarm settings for HDD defects such as Check Alarm Output Port, Replace Alarm Output Port, and
its duration.

• Alarm
- Alarm signal will output through the alarm out port on the rear side when selected <1>, <2>, <3>, and <4>.

SRN-470D supports only alarms : <1> and <2>.
- If <BEEP> was selected, a beep will sound.
- If <All> was selected, both beep sound and alarm signal through rear side ports will output.
