Configuring VLANs in Release 8.0
Now, verify if the client is able to receive an IP on each of the different VLANs. You should be able to
do an IP config release and renew, and physically move the client across ports 1-3 (verifying the different
VLANs and confirming that port 4 remains disabled). At this point, the ports that are enabled should
work.
Additionally, the following CLIs can be used instead of the GUI.
Commands via the CLI
CLI commands apply only for the 702W AP. For other APs, it is displayed as "Not supported". The
following CLIs commands are supported for LAN port configuration:
To enable access VLAN on a particular LAN port:

config ap lan enable access vlan <vlan id> <port id> <AP-NAME> // vlan id (2 - 4094),
port id (1 - 4)

On enabling access VLAN, vlan_valid in the lan_port info structure will be set to TRUE and
vlan_id will be populated. VLAN IDs 1 and 4095 on LAN ports are not supported.
