Install the HPV-20 System Software

The third step in installing the HPV-20 System is to install the software on the
e-PC.
1. If the e-PC is off, indicated by the
green light being unlit, turn it on by
briefly pressing the on/off switch.
2. Insert the compact disk labeled
"HPV-20 Partitioning Software."
3. Immediately turn the e-PC off by
holding down the on/off switch for 5
seconds.
4. Wait at least 15 seconds then turn
the e-PC on by briefly pressing the
on/off switch.
5. The e-PC beeps a series of low and high tones which indicate the
software version number then ejects the compact disk. This takes
about 60 seconds. You will not use this disk again, remove it and
discard.
6. Insert the compact disk labeled "HPV-20 Imaging Software."
7. Immediately turn the e-PC off. Wait at least 15 seconds then turn the
e-PC on by briefly holding down the on/off switch.
8. The e-PC boots up. The compact disk beeps its version number, then
installs the software. This takes about 10 minutes, then the disk ejects.
Remove the disk and store it in a safe place.
Windows begins to load. In about three minutes, the e-PC beeps with
a series of low- and high-tone beeps that indicate the software version
number; for example version 1.1.1 = low high low high low high low
and version 1.1.2 = low high low high low high high low.
Note: These version numbers are examples and may vary by site.
