switch to

to turn the cam-
era on.

OFF
to turn the camera off.

Tip: Switching to Playback Mode
Press the [E button for about a second to start play-
back. Press [E button again or press the shutter but-
ton halfway to return to shooting mode.

Caution
Pictures can be affected by fingerprints and other
marks on the lens. Keep the lens clean.

Tip: Auto Power Off
The camera will turn off automatically if no operations
are performed for the length of time selected in the
~
AUTO POWER OFF menu (pg. 100; note that OFF
is not available when
T.2
is selected in
l::t:rtl
mode).
To turn the camera on, use the ON/OFF switch.
