Troubleshooting table

Problem
The Lucca does not work or
does not work correctly.
The display remains dark if I
switch on the Lucca.
The battery is empty, even
though I did not use the Lucca
for some time.
The Lucca does not respond
when I touch the buttons.
Cause
The operating system of the
Lucca is overloaded.
The display may temporarily
loose its contrast after long and
heavy exposure to the sun and
high temperatures.
At very high temperatures, the
Lucca switches off to protect
against overheating.
The battery is not suffi ciently
charged.
The Lucca continues to use a
small amount of energy if it is
switched off. Hence, the bat-
tery could be discharged after
a few days.
During short driving times,
the battery is not completely
charged.
At very high temperatures, the
battery is not charged to protect
against overheating.
The operating system of the
Lucca is overloaded.
Troubleshooting table
Solution
Press and hold the On/Off
switch for longer than 14 sec-
onds to perform a reset. The
Lucca is restarted.
Reset the factory settings (Set-
tings menu, page two). All per-
sonal settings will be deleted!
Reinstall the navigation soft-
ware using the enclosed DVD.
Place the Lucca in the shade for
approximately 10 minutes and
switch it on again.
Fully charge the battery. The
complete charging time is ap-
prox. 3 hours.
To obtain battery operation
of up to 3 hours in navigation
mode, completely charge the
battery for approx. 3 hours.
Always operate the Lucca in the
vehicle together with the charg-
er cable via the cigarette lighter.
Place the Lucca in the shade for
approximately 10 minutes and
recharge the battery.
Press and hold the On/Off
switch for longer than 14 sec-
onds to perform a reset. The
Lucca is restarted.
