Telephone operation
Options while on calls
To transfer an outside call from the telephone base:
1. During the call, press MENU/
/�ELECT to choose Transfer.
2. Press
MENU
• If your have one handset and no other registered
devices, the outside call is put on hold and the
telephone base shows Transferring call... The
handset rings and shows Transfer from BA�E 0
(BA�E represents the base
• If you have
one handset, the telephone base shows TRAN�FER
TO: Use the dialing keys to e e nter a specific handset
number (1-9 for handsets 1-9,
0-2 for handsets 10-12, or TONE followed by #
for all devices),
the desired device and press
hold and the telephone base shows Transferring call... or Transferring
call to all...
(BA�E represents the base name).
3. To answer the call on the destination handset, press
/��EA�ER ��EA�ER. The telephone base shows Call transferred and goes to
idle mode.
NOTES:
• To cancel the transfer and return to the external call before the blind transfer call is answered,
press CANCEL, �HONE/
OFF/ OFF/
/��EA�ER ��EA�ER on your telephone base.
• If the other device does not answer the transfer within 30 seconds, the transfer ends and the
initiating device rings while showing No response to transfer. If it does not pick up within
30 seconds, the device returns to idle mode and the outside call ends.
